I want to share my experiences and assure that we remember that credit unions exist for the benefit of the members, strive to maintain a balance between member service and smart business; balance the trends of convenience and security, and continue to grow our credit union service and meet members’ needs. I sincerely wish to remain serving as a board volunteer to the approximately 44,000 members, helping to ensure growth and that we can better assist our membership with honesty, confidentiality, and accountability with a ‘results-oriented’ approach for the membership.

Day Air is an important institution that has served the Dayton community for over 70 years. It was the first financial institution in the Dayton area that I joined when moving to Dayton in 1972. Given the close relationship between Day Air and the University of Dayton, I have had many interactions with Day Air Credit Union over the years. It is well respected for its community service and service to its members. I view it as an honor to be able to serve as a volunteer for Day Air Credit Union.

I have always liked the idea of member directed financial institutions and see many parallels to our private shareholder based engineering company. I am intrigued by the financial industry. My goals include learning how the industry works, while maintaining the credit unions strategic direction and serving its member’s needs.
